Also again, the 56th Fighter Group had a nice dance floor and the DJ would take requests in a leather Army bag that got hoisted up to the DJ’s booth. Smaller dance floor, but this place played great music and had great bar service and drinks. Also, Fulton Street, off Conklin Street in Farmingdale. Music was good and this place would really start rocking after 8:00 pm on Friday nights. Thanks! This has been on my mind for a very long time. If any of you know the name of this place please post it. Real bummer, but I simply disconnected the speaker and went on rocking. Had to emergency shut down the entire sound system. During the week I attempted to repair it and then the next Friday night, again with a packed dancefloor, the speaker went on fire. I remember one night the place was super hopping, the dancefloor was packed and I blew out one of the speakers which were big and there was one positioned at each corner of the dancefloor. There were 2 LONG bars, one on the right side going from the front of the building to practically the back wall and the other bar was on the left wall, kind of like the same or twin bars. As you walked in, the raised lit dancefloor was in front of you, a little to the left. As you walked in the coat check was to your left, the DJ booth was right behind it.
